Power School (after training), access to teachers’ grade books.
Bi-Monthly Parent Meetings (every other month) bring all questions and concerns; compliments are appreciated too!
Wednesday “Koffee in the Kitchen”, bring your mug, questions and concerns to discuss with school Administrators.
In Danger of Failure Notices every six weeks.
Progress Reports every six weeks.
Student Internet Use: Students are regularly required to have access to the Internet to use Study Island, type assignments, obtain research, and various other tasks. Students are given one week to complete the work that has been assigned. If you do not have an Internet connection at home students can access the Internet for free at:
Any Public Library.
El Camino Inglewood. The El Camino College Inglewood Center provides public access to technology, basic skills classes, academic and career technical advising, on-site Math and English Assessment (by appointment), financial aid application assistance, as well as extended hours to help students acquire the basic skills necessary to transition into a career technical certificate program, an AA/AS degree program or transfer to a four year university.

Camp CCCS First Annual Beach Party is scheduled for Friday, September 5 from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Permission slips go home on Thursday, September 4 th (tomorrow). We have seats for 350 CCCS Bears, every student should plan to attend.
Clubs! Clubs! Clubs! Please encourage your child to explore the many clubs that CCCS is offering. Every student must join one club.
Our Back-to-School Sock hop is during lunch on Friday, September 12 th. The theme is: Golden Oldies, Music from the 60’s through the 80’s. Students may wear a blouse, shirt, t-shirt, polo shirt or other top that is mostly the color of their tie AND uniform bottoms. Tops for Sixth Graders are green, tops for Seventh Graders are red, and tops for Eighth Graders are blue.
Remember school closes every Friday at 4:00 p.m. There is no Century/LIFT on Friday. Please pick your child up on time. Until the time changes on November 2, students will stand out-side the office. After that parents are charged $5.00 a minute for every minute after 4:00 p.m.
The Law requires school personnel to report families who leave students at school, please pick students up on time.
